Embryological slides are specimens placed on a glass slide for microscopic examination of embryonic development, along with special media. They can be temporary (water/glycerol) or permanent (fixed and stained) for observing cellular structures, division, and early stages of development.

Embryology preparations are represented by chicken embryos at different stages of development. Preparations can be useful to students when studying the section of histology embryology.
